Securing any corporate assets which are worth protecting is traditionally based on physical protection against external attacks by installing alarms, cameras, perimeter protection, etc. But what companies often forget is how to protect themselves against breaches committed by their own staff, or how internal procedures and carelessness are often a crucial factor as regards why people on the outside may come across assets which are worth protecting.
